Re: Devil's Rejects... I started watching it, but I had to turn it off... heh... That's not to say it was bad or anything - Those type of victimization/exploitation films (The Girl Next Door, Last House on the Left, Mum & Dad, even TCM to an extent etc.) just make me feel uncomfortable (though I realize that's the POINT)... I need to give it another try because most people LOVE Rejects and just think that Corpses is so/so... Personally I thought that Corpses was absolutely brilliant - beautifully grotesque and macabre and one of the most fantastic horror climaxes I've ever seen...

I have to be prepared for it and in the right mindset (so that it doesn't just make me feel icky)... I assume that you're a fan?

Been a long-time fan of the mag, and a bit of a lurker on these forums for awhile, but since I've got a bit more free time of late, I guess I figured now was the time to jump in.
My name's Brian, and right now I'm in training in the Army. As you can figure, I'm not as able as I was pre-military to indulge my love of horror, but I've usually got a book in my cargo pocket and I am able to bust out the portable DVD every once in awhile. I love everything from the more extreme ends of splatterpunk to psychological horror and everything in between, and I LOVE reading horror novels and short stories.
