Here's a (near-complete) set of Remco's Universal Studios' Mini Monsters figures.
Released in 1980, this fantastic 3 ¾ inch line consisted of the Frankenstein Monster, Dracula, the Wolfman, Creature, the Phantom of the Opera and the Mummy. Initially produced in non-glow versions, a subsequent release was released with a glow in the dark effect. The Mummy appears to have been produced in lower quantities (which is probably why I don't own it) and is now the rarest of the series.
My first figure was Dracula, which I received (I believe) for my eighth birthday back in 1980. The figure met with a horrible demise however at the hands of my then five-year-old brother, but I was able to reacquire it a few years later - along with the other figures in the series.
A "Monsterizer" lab table accessory to bring the Frankenstein Monster back to life was also released; and a haunted house carrying case/playset was also manufactured to give kids additional hours of frightful fun.
In addition to the very nice job done on the sculpting/painting of the figures, what helps to make these great is the beautiful looking cards (just look at those fantastic images of Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi and Lon Chaney, Jr.).
