The Tim Burton & Danny Elfman 25th Anniversary Box Set

I found it necessary to post about the beautiful and awesome Burton/Elfman music box set that came out about 2 years ago (as of this posting).

It's a beautifully designed box set featuring the complete musical scores for all of the Tim Burton films with Danny Elfman's scoring (Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Beetlejuice, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Batman Returns, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Mars Attacks!, Sleepy Hollow, Planet Of The Apes, Big Fish, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, and Alice In Wonderland). Plus some exclusive demos and unrealesed music from the film soundtracks, plus an extended interview with Tim and Danny, a cool skeleton key USB Flash Drive and a book with some more interviews and pictures

They originally made around 500 of these, they were numbered and cost about $500. Since then they've made some more and apparently these will be the very LAST ONES MADE!!! So, if you're Tim Burton freak like me or at least dig the Danny Elfman scores. Get this thing before it's gone!!!!

Wow - Thanks for posting. That's not a cheap set, but you get so much cool stuff that it's probably worth it!

EDIT - So, I checked it out and it was on sale for $400 until yesterday and ended up picking it up this morning because the sale was still mistakenly on. Crazy-ass set to get, but I do love the Burton/Elfman collaborations, and I only have one or 2 of his soundtracks and a few stray MP3's, so if anything I'll have a nice set of his scores. Hoping it's going to be worth it...Saw a few discouraging reviews online about the craftsmanship of the set, but I'm really getting it for the scores and unreleased materials and the cool book. Pricey, I know, but not something you'll find used in a record store unless by crazy fluke.

This set is tempting, but 400$ is not cheap, and I already have several of those soundtracks, including the recent LalalaLand releases of the Batman scores (which are awesome by the way), so I guess I'll pass.
