Podcast Pet Peeves

Not naming any names... can we talk a bit about our pet peeves on podcasts?

I'll start...

- Podcasters who leave their phone / alarms on while they're recording. WTF?

LOL Yes, I'm sure you got quite a few dings from my pocket.

Was listening to one and the guy's alarm kept going off - where he would have to stop talking, turn off the alarm, and it'd go off again in ten minutes.

I really try to switch the phone off when I'm recording, but I'll admit to a few text alerts slipping into the recordings. Some people have gotten a kick out of it since it's a really loud scream.

Well....there's always 'editing' which a lot of podcasters don't seem to know how to do. Even though I'm guilty of turning out epic, mega length epics....they're ALWAYS vigorously edited, epic, mega length epics.

What is this "editing" you speak of? I know I'm guilty of not doing the due diligence on the editing front. I really should, "but it's haaaarrrd!"
