OK, so me and a friend have wrote a movie and now we want to try make it, but of course do this you need money,

Do you lovely people know any good ways of rising the cash?

Credit cards, organ donation, prostution.

Listen to commentaries of no-budget films, often directors will mention how they raised the money. Take a page from the book of Sam Raimi. The resources are out there. I hate to dash your dreams head first on the rocks, but you're not going to raise any money if you don't have a good script, a good director, and some filming experience.

And get an editor to go over your script. In your post you made two major errors: you should be inquiring about "raising" money for a script you and a friend have "written." mistakes like that aren't going to impress potential investors.


One of the best things you can do is pick up a camera and start filming now. Anything. Everything. Make a short or ten. Learn your camera, learn what you can do and how to do it.
